About
Rooted Calm Collective was created from a simple belief:
Children learn and grow best when they feel safe in their bodies.
In today’s classrooms, many young people are navigating stress and overwhelm that impact focus, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.
Rooted Calm Collective delivers structured, therapeutic-informed six-week classroom programs that support emotional regulation through movement, breath, grounding practices and somatic awareness.
This is not a one-off yoga session.
It is a progressive, skill-building curriculum designed to equip students with practical regulation tools they can use independently during moments of stress, transition or emotional intensity.
The approach is calm, predictable and developmentally aligned — meeting children where they are while strengthening the foundations for resilience.
When regulation becomes the foundation, learning can follow.
Founder
Rooted Calm Collective was founded by Carolyn Hagger, a children’s yoga and mindfulness educator with a focus on nervous system regulation in classroom settings. Drawing from yoga, mindfulness and somatic-informed principles, her work bridges therapeutic awareness with educational delivery — equipping students with tools that extend beyond the session and into daily life.
